This is a perfect class to showcase your writing, poetry, scrapbooking and to showcase your art. Make it a personal journal or a wonderful gift. Our guest instructor Victoria Delgadillo will make it fun, special and distinctive.
Learn how to make three unique books. First, we will start with simple pamphlet stitch binding using archival and recycled papers, learning how to make a 6 x 9-inch book bound by a thread. Second, you will learn how to make a 7 1/2 x 11-inch Origami/X-book. And third, you will learn how to make a 4 1/2 x 18-inch Accordion fold book.

Your instructor, Victoria Delgadillo, is a multi-media visual artist and a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. She is featured in private collections as well as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The National Museum of Mexican Art, The California Printmaking Archive, The Cultural Institute of Baja California, and The National Library of Congress digital archive. Currently, Victoria is an art instructor for at-risk-youth through the Armory Center for the Arts and one of the art instructors for Self Help Graphics & Art Barrio Mobile community outreach program.
Located in Alhambra, California, Ma Art Space doubles as Yolanda Gonzalez’s art studio, and classroom for watercolor and ceramics classes. Ma Art Space was established more than twenty-five years ago to provide a learning space for community empowerment.
