The Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, at Utah State University, facilitates learning through art. Latinx is a new contemporary art exhibition co-curated by USU Art History Professor Alvaro Ibarra and NEHMA Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Bolton Colburn. Each curator shares a common goal to showcase important influences in Western American art.

New works of art have recently been acquired to demonstrate further the museum’s commitment to the Latinx exhibition taking place from August 24, 2019, thru July 31, 2020. Fine artists include Yolanda González, Leo Limón, Paul Sierra and Eloy Torrez.

El Príncipe Que Nunca Llegó / The Prince Who Never Arrived by Yolanda González is an oil painting featuring a self-inflicted, puncture wound by the artist, through the canvas in 1995. The Kathryn C. Wanlass Foundation generously gifted this artwork.
