Yolanda Gonzalez was born into an artistic family whose Mexican heritage dates back multiple generations to present-day Los Angeles. Yolanda’s storied past will be soon be celebrated in a new exhibition celebrating her family and opening this November at the Vincent Price Art Museum in East Los Angeles, “Sueño de la Familia, The Dream of Family.” — Her paintings and sculptures are emboldened by storytelling and the individuals who have made her life extraordinary.
