Yolanda Gonzalez was born into an artistic family whose Mexican heritage dates back multiple generations to present-day Los Angeles. Yolanda’s storied past will be soon be celebrated in a new exhibition celebrating her family and opening this November at the Vincent Price Art Museum in East Los Angeles, “Sueño de la Familia, The Dream of Family.” — Her paintings and sculptures are emboldened by storytelling and the individuals who have made her life extraordinary. Yolanda’s visual narrative is bold, culturally inspired and regularly exhibited in private and public institutions around the world...United States, Africa, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Scotland, Spain… — Yolanda Gonzalez is a vital part of the Los Angeles arts community and actively teaches at Ma Art Space located in East Los Angeles.
